Course Title: Water Rescue for the First Responder
Course Description: This 6 hour class provides an emphasis on developing safety and self-rescue skills. Objectives include understanding water dynamics, handling hazards and obstacles, and using basic rescue equipment.

Target Audience: CAL FIRE/County Fire Personnel
Cost: Free to CZU San Mateo-Santa Cruz County Fire Personnel, Volunteers, Reserves, and PCFs.
Pre-Requisites: Volunteers must have completed Safety and Orientation.
Class Size: Minimum 12 - Maximum 18
Meals: Lunch will NOT be provided.
Attire: Personnel shall meet with CDF required grooming standards. Dress for the class will be work attire, which is appropriate for public contact and in a state of good repair. No shorts, tank tops, sandals, etc., will be allowed.
