Course Title: CDF I-ZONE, S-215
Course Description: This three-day NWCG course will cover basic engine tactical operations in the interface, communication, safety, structure triage, and the use of Class A foam. This course is designed to be application oriented, giving the student the tools to apply the “I-Zone firefighting” concept.

Cost: Free to CZU San Mateo-Santa Cruz County Fire Volunteers, Reserves, and PCFs. Please submit your TR-7's through the proper chain of command.

Fee to others TBA. This class is hosted by SCCTO's. CZU personnel please submit your TR-7's through the proper chain of command for scheduling and budgeting consideration. Registration forms must be completed and submitted to SCCTO's to enroll in this class.

Pre-Requisites: Engine Company Officer. Full Wildland and Structure PPE required.
Class Size: Minimum 8 - Maximum 20
Meals: Lunch will NOT be provided.
Attire: 100% cotton, plain, dark blue, crew neck T-Shirt with short sleeves, 100% cotton jeans, heavy-duty, lace-type work boots with deeply lugged Vibram-type soles and heels. The uppers shall be 100 percent leather, at least seven inches in height. The toe of the boot
should be of a hard material (not steel-toed) to reduce the potential for toe injuries, according to Cal-OSHA Regulation 3410B. Attire will be appropriate for public contact and in a state of good repair. No shorts, tank tops, sandals, etc., will be allowed.
Wildland PPE is required.
