This course provides students with information on driver responsibilities. Topics include: Vehicle laws, defensive driving techniques for emergency vehicles, techniques of basic inspection and maintenance for emergency vehicles, and actual driving exercises under simulated emergency conditions. |

| Target Audience: | CAL FIRE/County Fire Personnel - Company officers, training officers, and senior fire fighters who serve as incident commanders at initial response incidents. |
| Cost: | Free to CZU San Mateo-Santa Cruz County Fire Personnel, Volunteers, Reserves, and PCFs. |
| Pre-Requisites: | Volunteer FFI, Preventative Maintenance (Driver or Engineer), Pump Ops (Engineer), Class B Permit (Engineer) |

will be appropriate for automotive work. This is a “hands-on” class; please
