Course Title: BEVO: Basic Emergency Vehicle Operations (Previously EVOC)
Course Description:

This course provides students with information on driver responsibilities. Topics include: Vehicle laws, defensive driving techniques for emergency vehicles, techniques of basic inspection and maintenance for emergency vehicles, and actual driving exercises under simulated emergency conditions.

Location: Half Moon Bay Station 40        1191 Main Street, Half Moon Bay
Target Audience: CAL FIRE/County Fire Personnel - Company officers, training officers, and senior fire fighters who serve as incident commanders at initial response incidents.
Cost: Free to CZU San Mateo-Santa Cruz County Fire Volunteers, Reserves, and PCFs. Please submit your TR-7's through the proper chain of command.

Fee to others $75.00.      This class is hosted by SCCTO's. CZU personnel please submit your TR-7's through the proper chain of command for scheduling and budgeting consideration. Registration forms must be completed and submitted to SCCTO's to enroll in this class. 

Pre-Requisites: Volunteer FFI, Preventative Maintenance (Driver or Engineer), Pump Ops (Engineer), Class B Permit (Engineer)
Class Size: Minimum 10 - Maximum 25
Meals: Lunch will NOT be provided.
Attire: Attire will be appropriate for automotive work. This is a “hands-on” class; please dress in the appropriate work attire.
No shorts, tank tops, sandals, etc., will be allowed.
