| Course Title: | Defensive Driver Class - ORM (Office of Risk Management) |
| Course Description: |
A three and one-half hour class that reviews safe driving techniques through video, lecture, test and personal experience. Fulfills the State of California driver training requirements. All state employees who drive on state business must attend and successfully complete the Defensive Driver Training Program delivered by the Office of Risk Management at least once every four (4) years. Self-studies will no longer be accepted. This is in accordance with the State Administrative Manual Section 0751. Students receive a wallet size completion card valid for four years. The certification achieved by taking this course will expire 48 months after taking the class. |

Students may cancel up to 7 days prior to class. If a student cancels a class after the cancellation date there will be a fee of $22.10 Substitute students on the day of the class are acceptable. |
| Pre-Requisites: | None for Cal Fire Personnel. Volunteers must have completed the Safety and Orientation class. |
| Class Size: | This course has a minimum student count of 25 and a maximum student count of 40. |
| Meals: | Lunch will NOT be provided. |
| Attire: | Attire will be appropriate for public contact and in a state of good repair. No shorts, tank tops, sandals, etc., will be allowed. |
