A three and one-half hour class that reviews safe driving techniques through video, lecture, test and personal experience. Fulfills the State of California driver training requirements. All state employees who drive on state business must attend and successfully complete the Defensive Driver Training Program delivered by the Office of Risk Management at least once every four (4) years. Self-studies will no longer be accepted. This is in accordance with the State Administrative Manual Section 0751. Students receive a wallet size completion card valid for four years. The certification achieved by taking this course will expire 48 months after taking the class.
